Information on Data Protection for the Georg Neumann Webpages

With regard to the use of our webpages, compliance with the requirements of data protection law is a central concern of Georg Neumann GmbH (referred to below as "Georg Neumann"), so as to facilitate transparency in the handling of your personal data. 1.3 Newsletter or forum registration

When you subscribe to our newsletter, at the e-mail address that you specify you will receive an e-mail message with a confirmation link. You will receive the requested newsletter only after this confirmation link has been activated.

If you have subscribed to one of our newsletters, you can cancel the subscription at any time. For this purpose, please use the corresponding Unsubscribe link that is included in every newsletter. You will then receive an e-mail message with a confirmation link, which you must activate in order to cancel your subscription.

You have the opportunity to register to use our forum. When registering, you can choose whether your e-mail address will be displayed publicly or not. Use of the forum is subject to the rules of netiquette, which you must accept upon registering.

After you have successfully logged in, your access code can be saved in your browser, used for all requests for the same server, and deleted again after your browser is closed.

1.7 Storage period

Personal data that are conveyed to us via our website are stored only until the purpose for which the data have been entrusted to us has been fulfilled. After the intended purpose ceases to exist, your personal data will be completely erased.

We store IP addresses for a period of a maximum of four weeks. This storage is undertaken for reasons of data security, in order to ensure the stability and operational reliability of our system.

Our website contains links to other websites.

As a provider, we are responsible only for our own content, in accordance with general legislation. Under certain circumstances, our own content is to be differentiated from links to content made available by other providers. Georg Neumann ensures adherence to appropriate technological and organizational security measures, according to the state of the art, so as to comply with the requirements of data protection law. If your personal data are collected and processed, the information will be transmitted in encrypted form.

Access to your personal data is possible only for those persons involved with the technical, commercial or editorial support of our webpages, or of downstream services.

In the case of changes in the requirements of data protection law, Georg Neumann reserves the right to adapt the data protection statement as required.
